About Us
The Hmong Heritage Run 5K was established in April 2023 as a collaborative effort between the Hmong community in North Carolina and our current fiscal sponsor, Arts Culture Catawba, a DBA of the United Arts Council of Catawba County. This event creates a space to share Hmong culture, promote health and well-being, and introduce the broader public to who the Hmong people are. We want to connect today’s generations while strengthening relationships with the broader community.
Our Mission
To inspire physical fitness and cultural pride by providing education, advocacy, and training that preserve the rich history and diverse traditions of the Hmong culture.
Our Vision
To establish a Hmong Cultural Center in North Carolina that serves as a vibrant hub for preserving all facets of Hmong heritage while promoting health, wellness, and cultural connection within the community and beyond.
